Samirah Bakker

Samirah Bakker is currently serving as a Data Science Intern at Infomedics since April 2025, focusing on developing a hybrid deep learning model as part of a research internship for a Master’s in Data Science. Samirah has held various positions including Software Support medewerker at Vertimart since September 2020, Barista at De Koffiezaak from October 2019 to September 2020, Kassamedewerker at DekaMarkt from October 2018 to August 2019, and Vulploegmedewerker at Kruidvat in April 2017. Samirah's education includes a Master of Science in Information Studies: Data Science, expected from the University of Amsterdam in July 2025, a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the same university completed in July 2024, and a minor in Decision Making in Business and Society from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam completed in January 2024. Prior educational background includes a Propedeuse in Applied Psychology from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and completion of secondary education at St. Michaël College in 2018.
