Abel Segador

Abel Segador is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and software development, currently serving as the Security and Project Management Senior Manager at Vertiv since December 2016. In this role within the Global Monitoring Software Solutions group, Abel acts as a Security Champion and Agile PMO Coach, promoting security awareness and defining a Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC). Previously, Abel held positions as a Software Project Manager and Team Lead, overseeing the Vertiv™ Critical Insight project to monitor and control critical infrastructure. Abel's career began at Altran as an Analyst Programmer, followed by a role as Software Engineer and Monitoring Project Manager at Emerson Network Power. Abel holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Extremadura, earned between 1997 and 1999, and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution, completed in 1996.
