Dr. Prashant Shingare

Dr. Prashant Shingare is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of the Wind Power Business Unit at Vertiv since December 2016, where the focus is on expanding the wind power business. Prior to this role, Dr. Shingare was the Director at Vertiv, leading the Renewable Energy business from startup to maturity. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Renewable Energy Business at Emerson Network Power, overseeing product development and sales of advanced wind and solar products, and as Manager in the Technology Service Group at Suzlon Energy Ltd., contributing to significant wind power projects in India and the USA. Educational qualifications include an MTech and PhD in Systems and Control from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a Doctorate in Business Administration from SP Jain School of Global Management, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, and a BE in Instrumentation from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
