Michael Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michael started their career in 1997 at Air-Edel, where they worked as a Junior Agent representing film and television scoring composers. Michael then moved on to Wills Communications, Inc. as a Senior Account Executive, servicing major entertainment and consumer accounts.
In 2001, Robinson joined 1105 Media as a Media Relations/Marketing Manager, where they focused on increasing the audience development for e-newsletters and digital editions of print publications. Michael also developed publicity and marketing plans for IT conferences.
Robinson joined The Catchpole Corporation in 2004 as the Director of New Media Programs, overseeing the strategic direction and messaging for client speaker programs. Michael worked with clients such as Microsoft and Palm.
From 2008 to 2009, Robinson held roles at SVM Public Relations & Marketing Communications and Creat Studios, Inc. At SVM, they served as a PR Account Director, working with multiple clients in directing public relations activities. At Creat Studios, they planned and executed marketing campaigns for video games, leading company branding efforts.
In 2009, Robinson became the Vice President of Marketing at GreenBytes, where they were responsible for global marketing strategies until the company was acquired by Oracle. At Oracle, they held various roles, including Director of Integrated Marketing Communications and Senior Director of Global Communications, where they managed communication strategies and teams for different divisions within Oracle.
In 2018, Robinson joined Vertiv as the Senior Director of Integrated Communications, leading integrated communications efforts. Michael later transitioned to roles as Vice President and Global Vice President, focusing on corporate and integrated marketing.
Throughout their career, Robinson has developed expertise in marketing, communications, branding, and PR across multiple industries, including technology and entertainment.
Michael Robinson attended Boston College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Michael also obtained a HubSpot Professional Certification from HubSpot in 2009.
