Rachel Thompson

Rachel Thompson serves as Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Planning and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Vertiv, where responsibilities include enabling strategic planning, fostering organizational synergies, and establishing accountability. Prior roles at Vertiv include Senior Director and Director of Corporate Strategy & Planning, where Rachel led strategic initiatives and developed global strategic plans. Prior to Vertiv, Rachel held various positions at Textron Specialized Vehicles and Jacobsen, focusing on product management, strategy development, and business performance. Rachel's experience extends to Doosan Infracore and Ingersoll Rand, with a trajectory that includes roles in marketing, dealer development, and lean manufacturing. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and completed corporate learning programs at Duke University and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
