Prior roles include Technical Manager at Accenture, where Rick led performance improvement projects for Qt on Symbian OS, and Senior Technical Consultant positions at Nokia and Symbian Software Ltd, contributing to the development of various high-profile smartphones. Rick's early career included technical lead roles and contributions to real-time operating systems, further establishing a strong foundation in software engineering. Education includes studies at the University of Plymouth and Torquay Boys' Grammar School.
