Jon Barnett

Jon Barnett is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in technology leadership roles across various industries, including automotive, packaging, and social housing. Currently serving as the Head of IT Operations at Vertu Motors plc since June 2022, Jon has previously held key positions at MRI Software as a Senior Product Manager and Gentoo Group Limited as IT Director. Jon's expertise includes redefining ICT strategies, overseeing major systems upgrades, and managing cost-reduction programs. Earlier roles also include IS Manager positions at SAICA Packaging UK Ltd and SCA Packaging Ltd, where Jon focused on ERP system replacements and aligning IT services with business priorities. Jon’s career commenced in IT support and technical roles after earning a BSc in Computer Science from Teesside University.
