Michael Smith

Michael Smith has a solid work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Michael started their career as a Futures Analyst at Standard Bank in 1998. Michael then worked at Bache Financial Limited as a Metals Trader and was later promoted to the position of LME Clerk. In 2006, they joined Natixis as an LME Analyst, where they handled daily queries, reconciled reports, and managed warrants. Michael then moved on to New Edge Group in 2007, where they worked as an LME Analyst, responsible for trade matching and clearing, liaising with traders and brokers, and resolving day-to-day issues. Michael briefly worked at HSBC Bank plc as an LME Operations Analyst on a maternity cover contract. In 2008, they joined Credit Agricole as a Products Analyst, specializing in systems development and user acceptance testing for LME migration. Michael'sresponsibilities involved supervising and ensuring error-free migration and installation of LME SMART and LCH SNAYPSE. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at TrustFord as an Assistant Accountant, followed by a role as an Assistant Accountant at Stephen James BMW & MINI in 2019. Currently, they are working as a Dealership Accountant for the Bristol street motors division at Vertu Motors plc.

Michael Smith attended Roding Valley High School from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained their GCSE's with grades ranging from C. Following that, they pursued their A Levels in Mathematics and Theatre Studies at Epping Forest College from 1995 to 1997.
