Miguel Sossa

Miguel Sossa is the Director at VertueLab. Miguel was previously with Delta Air Lines where they served as the Sustainability Advisor. In this role, they were responsible for driving Delta's commitment to best connect the world while reducing waste and carbon footprint globally. Miguel was appointed to the advisory council leading the $1B program to become the first carbon-neutral airline by 2030. Miguel also created the business case and secured funding to launch the inaugural market-wide corporate offset program. In addition, they trained 200+ sales leaders on conveying Delta's value propositions to eco-conscious travelers.

Prior to joining Delta Air Lines, Miguel was with Accenture where they served as the Senior Manager - Smart Cities Practice. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of consultants in developing and implementing strategies for cities to become more efficient and sustainable.

Miguel started their career as a Consultant - Passenger Experience with LAN Airlines. In this role, they were responsible for improving the passenger experience by developing and implementing new customer service initiatives.

Miguel Sossa has an MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, a MS from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, and a BBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Miguel also attended Marist School for high school.
