Amanda Garcia has extensive work experience in compliance and mortgage operations. Amanda currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Compliance at Verus Mortgage Capital. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Mortgage Compliance at Wyndham Capital Mortgage and as the Vice President of Compliance at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation®, where they oversaw various initiatives related to NMLS licensing, external examinations, policy management, and regulatory compliance. Before that, they worked as a Senior Compliance Officer at Planet Home Lending, LLC and as a Vice President, Sr. Compliance Manager at PrimeLending. Amanda began their career as a Senior Loan Processor at SMI Lending, where they gained experience in loan processing and verification.

Amanda Garcia, CRCM, completed their education at various institutes. In 2004, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General. Amanda successfully graduated from the university in 2007. In 2013, Amanda attended the American Bankers Association where they acquired a Certificate in Lending Compliance. Finally, in 2015, they completed their education at the Institute of Certified Bankers, where they obtained the designation of a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager.
