Amin Hosseini

Amin Hosseini is a Biomedical Engineering team lead at Verv Technologies since June 2021. Prior to this role, Amin served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McMaster University's Faculty of Engineering from 2012 to June 2021, where significant accomplishments included designing, fabricating, and testing on-chip biosensors for specific biomarkers such as Interleukin-6 (IL-6) protein. Amin has also held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at McMaster University, contributing to the design of miniaturized bio-sensing devices and conducting educational sessions. Earlier in Amin's career, experience included developing Bluetooth/WLAN coexistence testing platforms at Research In Motion and providing IT support as a Senior Student Consultant at McMaster University. Amin earned a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from McMaster University in 2019, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering in 2012.
