Joy Veldboom

Joy Veldboom has an extensive work experience in the credit union industry. Joy started their career at Lakeview Credit Union in 1990, where they held the position of Vice President of Operations until 2005. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing various departments, including data processing, member services, HR, and branch managers. Joy also handled tasks such as managing the IRA/HSA program, security officer duties, compliance, staff training, and internal projects.

In 2006, Joy advanced to the role of Executive Vice President at Lakeview Credit Union. In addition to their previous responsibilities, they also provided direct assistance to the CEO and played a key role in the merger of Lakeview with Verve on May 1, 2014. Joy continued to serve as the AVP Project Management at Verve, a Credit Union, from May 2014 onwards.

Joy Veldboom obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism with a Professional Business Minor in General Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Joy pursued further education and received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
