Carlos Rosas has extensive experience in the telecom industry, with a focus on radio frequency (RF) optimization and engineering. Carlos began their career as a GSM RF Engineer at Ericsson Honduras, El Salvador & Brazil, working directly with the customer on drive tests, initial tunings, and optimization for the GSM/GPRS network. Carlos then transitioned to Ericsson USA, where they expanded the GSM/GPRS cabinet for the North Texas Cingular/AT&T market and served as a radio network consultant for initial tunings and tests. Carlos also worked as a WCDMA radio network consultant, analyzing drive tests and making recommendations for optimal network performance in various regions.
After their time at Ericsson, Rosas joined Nokia Networks as a WCDMA RF planning and optimization engineer. Carlos acted as the technical lead on a Telefónica project and worked as a RF team leader for the Telcel - AMX project, leading the design, initial tuning, and testing of the 3G network.
Rosas then worked at Ericsson Central America as a GSM/GPRS RF initial tuning and optimization engineer, ensuring sites were ready for drive tests and optimizing network performance through feature activation. Carlos also worked at Nokia as an optimization RF PM, coordinating the optimization processes and managing a team of engineers.
In their most recent role at Verveba Telecom, Rosas served as a Senior RAN Optimization Engineer for AT&T, managing various projects such as the drone site audit program, AT&T 5G NSA launch, and WCS carrier launches. Carlos also developed LTE in-house tools for optimized processes.
Throughout their career, Rosas has consistently demonstrated strong communication skills, effective team leadership, and a commitment to delivering quality work on time. Carlos'sexpertise in RF optimization and engineering make him a valuable asset in the telecom industry.
Carlos Rosas attended the Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 1996 to 2000, where they earned two degrees. Carlos obtained a degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering, with a focus on Telecommunications Engineering, from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained a degree in Telecom Engineering, with a specialization in Telecom Industries, during the same period.
