Ahmed Hamdi is a seasoned researcher and consultant with extensive experience in social domain projects and regional economic development. Since March 2016, Ahmed has served as a Senior Researcher and, since 2017, as the Program Leader for the Knowledge Platform Inclusive Society (KIS) at the Verwey-Jonker Instituut, overseeing themes of inclusion and accessibility. Prior to this role, Ahmed worked at ECORYS for nearly eight years, where responsibilities included social return and cost-benefit analyses. Early career contributions involved research on multicultural issues and regional development at Mex-it Intercultureel management and as a junior consultant at ECORYS. Ahmed began professional endeavors as an Advisor at InnoPro International in Morocco, following academic accomplishments in International Economics and Economic Geography at Utrecht University and additional studies at the University of Amsterdam.
