Ana Polo

Ana Polo is an engineer at Very Good Ventures. Ana previously worked as an Android developer at BABEL from December 2020 to January 2021. Prior to that, they were a software developer at everis from January 2019 to December 2020, where they worked with Kotlin as the main language for developing Android native applications, MVVM as the main architectural pattern, dependency injection with Koin, and applied Clean code. Ana also used the Android navigation component for navigation between views. Some of the most used libraries were Retrofit2, Lottie, Coil, Glide, Picasso, Recyclerview, Location, Gson, etc. Ana applied material design to create views and custom views to fit the designs required by the client. Ana also used Firebase, including Realtime database and firestore, and Crashlytics. Before that, they were a customer service representative at Decathlon España from August 2016 to February 2017 and again from July 2015 to January 2016. Ana started their career as a technical ETL intern at Modus Management SL from April 2015 to June 2015.

Their manager is Jorge Coca, Head of Engineering. They are on a team with Bartosz Selwesiuk - Engineer, Traci Goreham - Engineer, and Renan Araújo - Open Source Engineer.
