Rob Carlson has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Facilities Chemical Engineering and Architectural Intern at Micron Technology. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Facilities Mechanical Engineer at Transform Mfg LLC. In 2012, Rob became an AVID Tutor at Boise School District. Rob then returned to Micron Technology in 2013 as a Process Engineer, specializing in Photolithography and Electrochemical Deposition. Rob later transitioned to a role as a New Product Introduction Engineer, where they managed product development, maintained relationships with customers and suppliers, and collaborated on design and experimental verification. Rob joined House of Design Robotics in 2019 as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and held subsequent roles as an Applications Engineer, Senior Applications Engineer, and ultimately a Principal Product Development Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, Rob joined Very as the Lead Mechatronics Engineer.

Rob Carlson attended Boise State University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
