Solomon Utain

Solomon Utain is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in various technological domains. Currently employed at Veson Nautical since 2021, Solomon focuses on developing a data-as-a-service platform for overseas shipping vessel logistics and commodity trading. Prior to this role, Solomon worked at CTDI as an Embedded Software Engineer, creating visual inspection routines for machine vision-based industrial automation systems. At Paperless Solutions, Incorporated (2017-2020), Solomon designed content management systems for government clients, facilitated project discovery phases, and managed SQL databases and web apps. Additionally, during a software engineering internship at Medtronic (2016), Solomon implemented a continuous integration/deployment platform for embedded ventricular assist device controllers. Previous internships include biomedical engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and physics research at the Experimental Nuclear/Particle Physics Laboratory. Solomon holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Boston University and is furthering education at The Johns Hopkins University.
