Joel Seah

Joel Seah has a range of work experience in various positions and industries. Joel is currently the Managing Director at Vesparum Capital since June 2016. Prior to this role, they worked as a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from June 2013 to May 2016. Joel also worked as an Associate at Lion Capital from June 2012 to May 2013. Joel began their career as an Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland from January 2009 to May 2012. Before transitioning to the corporate world, they served as a Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) from 2002 to 2004.

Joel Seah began their education in 1999 at Hale School, where they completed their Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE) in 2001. Joel then enrolled at The University of Western Australia from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting and Finance. In 2009, Joel pursued further education at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, earning a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they also simultaneously pursued a degree in Health Science with a specialization in Public Health and Human Movement from The University of Western Australia during the same period from 2004 to 2008.
