Mads Fuglsang Kjolby

Mads Fuglsang Kjolby has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and organizations. Mads Fuglsang began their career as an MD at Aarhus University Hospital in 2006 and also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern Denmark, teaching medical physiology. In 2007, they joined Laegerne Oestergade for an internship as a General Practitioner.

Moving forward, Kjolby pursued a PhD at Aarhus University Hospital, focusing on the role of sortilin in cholesterol metabolism. Mads Fuglsang held various positions during their time at Aarhus University, including Postdoc, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor, where they researched the involvement of proteins in the sortilin family in diseases like brain diseases, lipid disorders, diabetes, and obesity.
