Rick Knauth

Rick Knauth currently serves as the Head of Asset Management and Market Analytics at Vesper Energy, overseeing the management and analytics of a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects since March 2025. Prior to this role, Knauth was the Chief of Asset Management at Swift Current Energy, responsible for the operations of renewable energy assets. Previous positions include Executive Vice President of Asset Management at Swift Current, Co-President of Renewable Services at CAMS, and Director of Business Development at Vestas, where significant contracts and sales agreements were negotiated. Knauth’s extensive experience in asset management and project development is complemented by a background in international relations and civil engineering, with degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and Tulane University, respectively.
