Jason Viljoen

Jason Viljoen has a consistent work experience in the software development field. Jason is currently employed as a Senior Software Developer at Vesper since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at bunq as a Software Engineer from May 2021 to April 2022. Their longest tenure was at EPI-USE Labs, where they worked as a Software Engineer from January 2018 to May 2021. During this time, they worked on various projects, including GeoClock, a geofenced time sheet application that integrates with SAP SuccessFactors. Their responsibilities included frontend and backend design and development, database design and implementation, as well as working with cloud solutions and other platforms. Before their software development career, they gained experience as a Sports Coach at SAHETI School, where they coached various sports such as cricket and athletics.

Jason Viljoen attended Leeuwenhof Akademie Private School from 1999 to 2013, where they completed their pre-primary, primary, and high school education. In 2014, they enrolled at the University of Johannesburg and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, which they completed in 2018. Jason then continued their education at the same university, earning a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Information Technology in 2019.
