Heather Osecki

Heather Osecki is an accomplished professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as President at CNOOC US GoM since October 2018 and as an Independent Director at Vesta Energy Ltd since August 2023. With extensive experience at Nexen from May 2000 to April 2017, Heather held several leadership roles, including General Manager of Project Delivery and Engineering and Construction, where oversight of 50,000 bopd of SAGD production and project management was paramount. Heather's expertise encompasses strategic planning, project optimization, and operational management, complemented by a strong technical background in reservoir engineering and heavy oil business development. Educational qualifications include a BSc and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, and designation as a NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
