Alan Horst

Alan Horst has a diverse work experience across different industries. Alan started their career as a Research Assistant at CERN in July 2018, working until October 2018. After this, they joined the University of Maryland as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from June 2017 to December 2018, and again from October 2016 to January 2019. Subsequently, they worked at Turning the Page as a Retail Sales Manager and Event Coordinator from February 2019 to November 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Data Scientist at Vesta, starting in March 2020.

Alan Horst has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they attended the University of Maryland from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Additionally, Alan has obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning, Managing Big Data with MySQL, and Introduction to Data Science in Python, all from Coursera. Alan obtained the certifications in February 2020 and December 2017.
