Tyson Cadenhead

Head of Software Engineering at Vestaboard

Tyson Cadenhead has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tyson is currently working at Vestaboard as the Head of Software Engineering, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mindful as a Senior Full Stack Architect from January 2022 to September 2022. During their time at Mindful, they played a key role in designing and implementing cloud native architecture and migrating multiple Apollo APIs.

Before Mindful, Tyson worked at Evolution Virtual, starting as the Lead Software Engineer in June 2020 and eventually becoming the VP of Engineering in August 2021. At Evolution Virtual, they were involved in building an immersive 3D MLS platform using Serverless AWS components, SQL and DynamoDB databases, React, Unity, and Unreal Engine applications.

From January 2019 to May 2020, Tyson was the Chief Technology Officer at Aloompa, where they led the technology team and implemented new technologies like React, Serverless, and AWS. Tyson also worked as an Innovation Lead and Senior JavaScript Developer at Aloompa, where they managed the front-end JavaScript team and developed various products using Angular, React, Redux, and Ramda.

Prior to Aloompa, Tyson worked at appendTo, LLC as a JavaScript Engineer, where they provided training, development, and support for jQuery-based projects. Tyson also worked as a Senior JavaScript Engineer at Moontoast, LLC, where they led the front-end development for their "Buy Button" product.

Earlier in their career, Tyson worked at Dominion Dealer Solutions as a UI/UX Developer, Fiduciary Consulting Group as a User Interface Developer, and BigFish as a Web Developer. At these companies, they built and maintained client-side applications using technologies like EXTJS, JavaScriptMVC, ASP, and Coldfusion.

Tyson Cadenhead attended Union University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media Studies with an Art Emphasis.
