Brian Devree

Brian DeVree is a Research Scientist at Vestaron Corporation, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of biological peptide-based pesticides for agriculture since November 2022. Prior to this, Brian served as an Assistant Professor at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from February 2017 to February 2022, conducting research on the plant cell wall protein expansin and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher studying dopamine transporters and HIV entry at the University of Michigan. Brian's academic journey includes obtaining a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Michigan and multiple Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences from Michigan Technological University. Additionally, Brian has experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching high school chemistry in Guinea, where service was cut short due to political instability.
