Christian Jeppesen

Christian Jeppesen is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Offshore Product Lead and Lead Specialist at Vestas since August 2017. In this role, Christian is the technical lead for the V236 product, overseeing its safe launch and market introduction. Additionally, Christian directs Vestas' Power-to-X activities and shapes the company's approach to hydrogen applications. Previous roles at Vestas include Specialist in Power to X Innovation and Assistant Lead Control Engineer, focusing on the development of control features for wind turbines. Christian's background includes a PhD in Engineering from Aalborg University, where research involved developing measurement systems for fuel cells and characterizing their performance. Education also includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Energy Engineering, alongside early experience as a research and student assistant at Aalborg University.
