Inês Umbelino Correia

Inês Umbelino Correia is a High Voltage Engineer at Vestas, specializing in the design and creation of requirement specifications for High Voltage Switchgears since September 2022. Expertise includes the qualification of supplier switchgears through analysis of type testing and the creation of design verification reports, as well as the evaluation of switchgear data and 2D/3D drawings. Prior experience includes serving as a Power Systems Engineer at Voltalia, focusing on analyzing technical information and grid impact studies for new power plant installations, and working as a Tendering Specialist and Electrical Design Engineer at Efacec, concentrating on customer technical specifications and the electrical design of power transformers. Inês holds an Integrated Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Energy from the Universidade de Coimbra (2013 - 2019).
