Marco Milanesi

Marco Milanesi is an experienced professional in the field of wind energy, currently serving as the Director of Siting Solutions and Technical Development for the APAC region at Vestas since November 2019. Previously, Marco held various positions at Siemens Gamesa, including Manager of Site Assessment for Onshore in South Europe and Africa, and at Siemens, where responsibilities included managing loads and operative siting for onshore wind across the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa. Early career roles included Wind Energy Consultant at GL Garrad Hassan and roles as a Siting Engineer and Technical Manager. Marco holds an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Digital Transformation from POLIMI Graduate School of Management, along with degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Genova and completed exchange programs focused on Emerging Technologies and Wind Energy at IÉSEG School of Management and DTU - Technical University of Denmark, respectively.
