Duncan O'Brien

Duncan O'Brien's work experience includes being the Head of Product at Vested since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at OnCorps from 2017 to 2022, where they held the roles of VP Product & Delivery and Data Scientist. At OnCorps, they contributed to providing AI-powered solutions for asset managers and reduced labor hours on operational tasks by over 90%. Before OnCorps, Duncan worked as an Analyst at The Brattle Group from 2016 to 2017, where they developed analytical skills and conducted economic analyses for utility and finance firms. Duncan also worked at Global Atlantic Financial Group Limited as a Summer Analyst in 2015, where they evaluated and executed block reinsurance transactions and prepared investment materials. Additionally, Duncan was a Research Assistant to Nobel Prize Winner Professor Josh Lerner and Professor Jean Tirole in 2014-2015, conducting research on the economics of patent standards. Duncan also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Stuart Gilson in 2014, assisting with research on bankruptcy proceedings and asset auctions.

Duncan O'Brien completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics with Cum Laude honors from Harvard University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. During their time at Harvard, they also attended the Harvard Summer School in 2013, focusing on German Language and Literature. In terms of additional certifications, Duncan obtained several certifications from DataCamp. These certifications include: Machine Learning Scientist with Python Track (completed in April 2021), Deep Learning in Python Track (completed in November 2020), Image Processing with Python Skill Track (completed in August 2020), and Time Series Analysis with Python Track (completed in June 2020).
