Michael Hirsch

Michael Hirsch is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience across various roles in analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as Principal Quantitative Strategist and Senior Data Scientist at Vested since January 2022, Michael previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning at Elastic from November 2017 to August 2021, where leadership was provided for integrating machine learning with aiops and security analytics products. At R/GA, from June 2015 to October 2017, Michael led data science and machine learning teams for high-profile clients, while also advocating for the data science discipline. Additional experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist at R/GA, a Researcher at the University of Amsterdam, a Data Engineer at Booker Software, a Database Developer at Relationship Science, and a Technical Consultant and Mathematics Teaching Assistant at New York University. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from New York University and has participated in an exchange program at Trinity College Dublin.
