Tom Hennessey

Tom Hennessey is the Co-Founder & CEO at Vested. Prior to Vested, Tom was the Co-Founder & COO at Gradient from October 2018 to May 2019. Before Gradient, Tom was at Mass Ave Capital. Prior to Mass Ave Capital, Tom was the VP Business Operations at Circle from February 2014 to May 2018 where they helped lead and scale the company from twelve people and $20M valuation to over 200 people and close to a $3B valuation. At Circle, Tom reported directly to the company founders and served in a number of strategic roles including building out global partnerships, new business lines, business development, and operational teams. Tom also helped support the expansion of Circle’s Trading business, was a key principal in two major acquisitions, and served as company director for CENTRE.io, a foundation Circle spun off via a token sale, to create a governed network powered by price-stable crypto assets.

Tom Hennessey's educational career includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, an SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering (2A), and graduation from The Roxbury Latin School.
