Peter Wamburu

Peter Wamburu is currently the Vice President at VestedWorld, having previously served as an Investment Associate. With extensive experience in the venture and investment space, Peter worked as a Start-up & Investment Advisor at Pariti, providing strategic input on financial models and pitch decks for early-stage companies. As a Consultant for Optimizer Foundation, Peter supported impact investing efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on pipeline development and due diligence. Peter also participated in the prestigious Newton Venture Program as a Venture Fellow, selected among over 300 global applicants. Earlier roles include Group Business Analyst and Data Analyst at Odyssey Capital, where Peter facilitated fundraising and implemented credit risk scoring frameworks. Additional experience includes project management in the renewable energy sector at Solar World Group East Africa and hardware product development at BRCK. Peter holds a Master of Science in Financial Technology from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
