Anders Norup

Anders Norup has extensive experience in the field of education and local governance. Currently serving as Skole- og Dagtilbudschef at Vesthimmerlands Kommune since April 2017, Anders previously held the position of Byrådspolitiker with Rebild Kommune for five terms, representing the Venstre party. As a school leader, Anders managed several institutions, including Klarup Skole, Gudumholm Skole, and Nr. Kongerslev Skole, overseeing the development of modern educational practices and environments. Anders began a career in education as a folkeskolelærer from 1985 to 1995. Academic qualifications include a PD in leadership from UCN and various municipal education programs focused on leadership and political training.
