Blake Derr

Blake Derr has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2022 onwards, they worked at Vestis Corporation, where they held the positions of Vice President - Internal Audit / Chief Audit Executive and Finance Director - Governance, Controls, and Business Transformation. In these roles, they were responsible for developing an internal audit function, facilitating a global audit program, managing enterprise risk management, and overseeing governance, controls, and finance transformation. Prior to Vestis Corporation, Blake worked at Enerpac Tool Group as the Director of Internal Audit from 2020 to 2022. Blake also gained experience at RSM US LLP, where they held the positions of Director and Manager from 2018 to 2020. Before joining RSM US LLP, they worked at PwC from 2006 to 2017, starting as an Assurance Associate and eventually becoming an Assurance Senior Manager. In addition to their professional experience, Blake also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006.

Blake Derr obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. Following that, they pursued a Masters of Accountancy degree at the Wisconsin School of Business in 2005-2006. In 2007, Blake obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.
