Karianne Torvanger

Karianne Torvanger has extensive experience in public service and local government, currently serving at Vestland fylkeskommune since October 2019 in multiple roles, including as a member of the fylkesutvalet and the Leader of the Hovudutvalg for opplæring og kompetanse. Prior to this, Karianne held various positions in Flora Kommune from August 2008 to December 2019, including the Leader of the Levekårsutvalet and member of the Bystyret. Additionally, Karianne worked as a political secretary at Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune and has a background in training and educational leadership. In the private sector, Karianne co-owned Aroma Cafe AS from December 2011 to December 2017. Educational qualifications include studies at BI Norwegian Business School and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, along with degrees from Øyrane Vidaregåande Skule and Flora Videregåande Skule.
