Joseph Caruso Jr.

Joseph Caruso Jr., CFA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Joseph started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Baring Asset Management in 1994, where they were responsible for monthly database updates and acted as a beta tester for investment and performance applications. Joseph then joined Batterymarch Financial Management in 2000 as a Quantitative Analyst, supporting investment, trading, and client service teams. During their time at Batterymarch, they also held roles as a Senior Quantitative Analyst and Manager, Investment Systems, where they managed a team of developers and received consistent recognition for delivering exceptional support and process improvements.

Caruso joined Vestmark in 2015 and has held roles as a Staff Customer Engineer and currently as a Principal Customer Engineer. Joseph has been responsible for providing technical support to customers and developing improved access to data sources. Caruso's work experience demonstrates their expertise in investment systems, quantitative analysis, and customer support in the finance industry.

Joseph Caruso Jr., CFA earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Rochester from 1989 to 1993. Prior to this, they obtained a High School Diploma from Phillips Academy between 1986 and 1989. In addition, they hold the certifications of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in February 2019, and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2003.
