Tim Detloff, CFA, CPA, serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Vestor Capital, LLC, a $2 billion registered investment advisor, since June 2005, where Tim also chairs the Investment Management Committee. Before this role, Tim was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Monetta Financial Services, Inc. from January 1996 to June 2005, managing the Monetta Fund and achieving an annualized return exceeding the S&P 500 Index benchmark. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President in Venture Capital at BP from June 1987 to January 1996, where Tim managed comprehensive investment processes and monitored portfolio performance. Tim holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
