Avishay Ashkenazi

Avishay Ashkenazi's work experience begins with their current role as the Head of DevOps at Vesttoo since December 2022. In this position, they are responsible for recruiting and mentoring talented DevOps engineers, building a scalable self-service platform for CICD and preview environments, designing production-grade Kubernetes clusters, and utilizing various platforms and tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.

Prior to Vesttoo, Avishay served as the Head of DevOps at RapidAPI from March 2021 to December 2022. Avishay also held the role of DevOps Manager at Roojoom from 2020 to 2021, and the position of DevOps Lead at Agent Video Intelligence from 2017 to 2020.

Further back in their career, Avishay worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at F5 Networks from August 2015 to 2017, a DevOps Lead at Nipendo from 2014 to 2015, and a Senior DevOps Engineer at Salesforce.com from 2011 to 2014. Avishay also had previous positions at Microsoft, Zend Technologies, and Aladdin Knowledge Systems, where their roles focused on DevOps engineering and software development.

Avishay Ashkenazi earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 1998. In 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. Avishay also possesses a certification in NERC-CIP from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
