Courtney Eccles has diverse work experience in the fields of relationship management, policy development, and outreach. From 2021, they have been serving as the VP of State & Client Relationship Management at Vestwell. Prior to this, they worked at the Illinois State Treasurer's office from 2015 to 2021, where they held the position of Director of Secure Choice. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Policy Director at Woodstock Institute, a nonprofit research and policy organization focused on fair lending and financial systems reform. Earlier in their career, Courtney worked at Protestants for the Common Good, starting as the Assistant Director of Outreach and Policy in 2007 and later becoming the Director of Policy and Outreach from 2012 to 2012.

Courtney Eccles completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Policy from Northwestern University, attending from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Northwestern University between 2010 and 2012.
