Ghany Pamungkas has over 15 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ghany began their career at PwC Indonesia as an Associate, where they performed substantive testing audits and applied accounting knowledge to solve basic issues. Ghany then progressed to the role of Senior Associate and later Assistant Manager, leading audit teams for medium-to-big-size financial services clients and coaching team members.

In 2014, Ghany joined KPMG Singapore as an Assistant Manager, managing financial services client audits and evaluating business strategies and internal control practices. Ghany was then promoted to Manager, where they directed multiple teams and dealt directly with lead partners throughout the audit process.

In 2016, Ghany returned to PwC and worked as a Senior Associate in New York, where they coached team members and reviewed their work. Ghany was later promoted to Manager, overseeing audits for banking and capital market clients and collaborating with partners on each audit phase. Finally, they became a Senior Manager, managing PCAOB integrated audits and evaluating internal control designs and operating effectiveness.

Most recently, Ghany worked at MealPal as VP of Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations. In this role, they played a key part in establishing strong finance and accounting policies, monitoring control effectiveness, and managing external financial audits.

Currently, Ghany serves as the VP of Technical Accounting and Audits at Vestwell, where they apply their expertise in technical accounting and auditing.

Ghany Pamungkas has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR), which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Ghany also pursued an Accounting profession (Ak.) degree at the University of Indonesia from 2008 to 2009. Ghany Pamungkas has additional certifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Indonesian Institute of Accountants, obtained in 2015, and as a Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Education Department, although the exact year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
