Courtney Plaza

Courtney Plaza has experience working in various roles in marketing and journalism. In 2023, they worked as the Head of Marketing at Vesuvius Studios. Prior to that, they were an Academics Beat Reporter at The Michigan Daily from 2022 to the present and a News Reporter from September to December 2022. Courtney also worked as a Staff Reporter at The Village Green starting in April 2021. Additionally, they have experience in political campaigns, having worked as a campaign outreach organizer for the Michigan Democratic Party from June to November 2020.

Courtney Plaza attended Columbia High School from 2018 to 2022, but did not receive a degree or study a particular field during this time. From 2022 to 2026, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Michigan.
