Heinz Gaugl

Heinz Gaugl has extensive experience in leadership roles within the manufacturing and chemical sectors, currently serving as Vice President for both Vesuvius and Foseco in China since July 2018. Prior to this, Heinz was General Director at Nui Phao - H.C. Starck Tungsten Chemicals Manufacturing LLC from September 2016 to July 2018 and held the position of General Manager at H. C. Starck from September 2011 to September 2016, overseeing operations at the Ganzhou plant. Heinz's previous roles include CTO China at Xella International and CEO China at RHI AG, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple production facilities and leading project development. Heinz began the career as a project engineer/start-up engineer at Andritz AG, contributing to various projects in the steel industry. Heinz holds a PhD in Non-Ferrous Metallurgy from Montanuniversität Leoben, completed between 1990 and 1999.
