Nicolas Butaye

Nicolas Butaye is a European Patent Attorney currently working at Vesuvius since October 2019, where responsibilities include serving as a patent advisor for the Vesuvius Group and overseeing the digital services patent portfolio for the flow control business unit. Prior to this role, Nicolas worked as a self-employed European and Belgian Patent Attorney, collaborating with Pecher & Partners and Zhaoffice IP firms while completing part-time secondments in the IP departments of IBA and Vesuvius. Previous experience includes serving as a European and Belgian Patent Attorney at Kirkpatrick from March 2012 to July 2016, along with an R&D internship at AGC in early 2011.
