Edward Thomas

Edward Thomas has a diverse range of work experience. Edward started in 1999 as a Technical Director at Cynosure Design, where they founded the company and worked on various web development projects. In 2004, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Aberdeen, focusing on semantic reasoning and developing techniques for fuzzy and probabilistic models. Edward later became a Research Fellow at the same university, working on a European project called MOST, where they improved reasoning capabilities and optimized techniques for performance. In 2011, Edward joined Wolters Kluwer as an Applied Research Engineer, responsible for adopting advanced technology to solve business problems. Edward also worked as a Content Semantics Architect, implementing semantic technologies in publishing pipelines. In 2015, Edward became a Senior Consultant at MarkLogic, and later a Principal Consultant in 2017. In 2020, they joined VetChef as the Chief Technology Officer. Currently, Edward is the Consultant and Director at Epilith Limited.

Edward Thomas attended The University of Manchester from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computation. Edward later studied at the University of Aberdeen from 2004 to 2007, focusing on Computer Science but without obtaining a specific degree.
