Al Gilardi

Al Gilardi has worked as a Software Engineer at Vetcove since 2020, a Support Engineer at Polar Inc. since 2018, and a Desktop Support Assistant and Grader at New York University from 2015-2018. As a Desktop Support Assistant, Al provided technical support for library employees and students, troubleshooting wi-fi connectivity issues and bugs in proprietary software, and maintained over 100 public desktop computers and 18 printers. As a Grader, Al collaborated with a professor to provide comprehensive feedback for homework and projects in JavaScript and Node.js to over 45 students, reduced grading time by more than 25% by programming Mocha.js test files, and saved an hour per week from each engineer's workload by developing Bash scripts.

Al Gilardi completed their Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from New York University in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Stuyvesant High School from 2009 to 2013.
