Lauren Schumitz

Lauren Schumitz began their work experience in 2016 as an English Teacher at Western Reserve International, where they created lesson plans for Chinese students and tutored college applicants for the Test of English as a Foreign Language. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at LIFETIME FITNESS and then as a Discovery Theater Intern at The Smithsonian Associates. Later that year, they became the House Manager at The George Washington University, where they were responsible for managing the sorority's household budget, resident relations, regulation compliance, and occupation requirements. In 2018, they interned as a Production Intern at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and also held two positions at Freedman Consulting, LLC, first as an Administrative Associate and then as an Executive Manager for the President. Most recently, they worked at Chicago Public Media as a Coordinator for Development and Board Relations. Currently, they are working as an Associate Account Manager at Vetcove starting in February 2023.

Lauren Schumitz received their Bachelor's degree in Organizational Science from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Chippewa Valley High School, from 2011 to 2015. No degree or field of study was specified during their time in high school.
