Heather Chalmers

Heather obtained her DVM degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002 and completed her residency at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, USA in 2006. Heather then spent 11 years in academic practice in Guelph, where she enjoyed research, teaching and clinical duties and obtained tenure. In 2017, she was inspired to join VetCT and she brought her natural love of academia with her. As the leader of VetCT’s Academic Support team, Heather has a great drive for teaching and learning. She lives in London, Canada with her family.
