Taryn Nichols

Taryn Nichols serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Academic Support for Athletics at Villanova University, a position held since May 2012, where responsibilities include providing academic advising for over 600 varsity student-athletes, managing the Student-Athlete Mentor Program, and developing workshops on professional development and mental health. Previously, Taryn held the role of Athletic Academic Advisor and Academic Advisor for the Villanova School of Business, advising students on academic paths and facilitating career-related experiences. Taryn's experience also includes an internship focused on academic support for student-athletes at Villanova University and a compliance role at Indiana University Bloomington. Taryn holds a Master of Science in Higher Education from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University.
