Liz Barton

Liz Barton is a highly experienced veterinary professional and co-founder of WellVet, an initiative aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of veterinary teams through various activities. With a diverse background that includes roles as a veterinary surgeon at Frame, Swift and Partners, and Wood Green, The Animals Charity, Liz has also served as a board member for SPVS Ltd and director of Vetsnet CIC, focusing on wellbeing initiatives in the veterinary profession. Additional experience includes editorial roles with Veterinary Woman and Vetsurgeon.org, senior account management in PR and marketing, and a current position as Head of Communications at VetCT. Liz is an active member of the British Veterinary Association's Policy Committee and volunteers as a trustee for Vetlife, reflecting a commitment to supporting veterinary professionals.
