Bruce King

Bruce King, CD JD, currently serves as the Bureau of Pensions Advocates Area Director for Western Canada at Veterans Affairs Canada, where responsibilities include supervising advocacy services for RCMP and Canadian Forces members. In addition, Bruce holds a position as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law, teaching subjects such as international humanitarian law and military justice. Bruce's extensive experience with the Canadian Armed Forces spans various roles, including Deputy Judge Advocate General (Reserves) and Assistant Deputy Judge Advocate General, providing legal advisory services to military command staffs. Bruce King holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta, along with a qualification from the Canadian Forces College in the Joint Reserve Command and Staff Programme.
